'Friends of the Ames Farmers' Market' is a group of caring customers, community activists, and culinary professionals who are interested in promoting the growth and success of local farmers through activities based at the  Ames Farmers' Market.

The Friends goals are to:

  • improve the availability of a diverse range of locally produced, high quality foods
  • to connect local producers and farmers to chefs, restaurants and the public
  • to support small family farms and promote a healthier community through education, appreciation for local, fresh and sustainably raised produce and products
  • preserve our environment for future generations and raise awareness of local environmental issues.

 All memberships are good for a period of one year from purchase.  (Except for lifetime, of course.)  Membership benefits apply to both indoor and outdoor markets.
