Meet Debra Ludwig
My business began in 2007 when I completed writing my first cookbook, "The Iowa Farmers' Market Cookbook". As the idea of becoming a vendor grew, so did my product line. My business revolves around the Farmers' market and fresh produce theme. I promote healthy eating and good nutrition. (The local farmers' market promotes them both.)
My business is going toward the gourmet direction of the farmers' market. I sell cookbooks and food products for fresh produce. My products include herb seasoning packets for fresh produce, her meat rubs for grilling, gourmet hot chocolate, blank recipe cards, cookbooks for fresh Iowa produce and a" Farmers' Market Guide Book" (how to select, prepare and store fresh produce).
My future plans for new products include a cookbook series called "Cooking For One" and a children's cookbook. I also plan to offer fruit seasoning packets and gift baskets.
